I am planing to spend ten days in Paris in june, and I am looking for a nice hotel, but not too expensive. It can be in the suburbs, as long as it is close to a train or bus station, and it doesn’t take for ever to comute.

This site is phenomenal for cheap airline tickets so I assume their hotel search is equally helpful! Good luck!

I like hotel le loiret. It’s about 10 euros a night, which isn’t dirt cheap, but the location is perfect. It’s next door to the Palais Royale, across the street from the Louvres. The place is clean, friendly, and very convenient.

I have a couple of websites for you:

You usually can’t find one that’s not near the metro, I think both these websites show how close each hotel is to a metro & show pictures of the rooms.

I was there last year and really wanted to stay here, but it was fully booked:

    & this one looked nice:

Hope this helps & have a great time! :)

Here is a website listing low budget hotels in Paris.

To check out if these hotels are interesting or not, I would recommend that you look for them on the Tripadvisor hotel

Most of these hotels are not part of large chains. Hotels of the Formule 1 or Etap Hotel chains may be cheaper but they are generally located outside Paris or very near the périphérique.

    I would check with Bookings.net
What I like about them is that they list tons of hotels in every category and price range, and you get to pick what works for you based on detailed photos and other info. I mentioned it in more detail on my site (including their free booking/free cancellation policy, and so forth. Feel free to go read up on it… Good luck and good times!

this is a youth hostel with a really good deal price (around 18euro), safe, with breakfast, quite clean, near from station metro (ligne 8) and bus (number 76 and 86), near supermarket (monoprix, ed, franprix) and market (aligre).

Hi, I’m also going there with the missus on June 19, 06. After checking many sites, I’ve found one OUTSTANDING hotel website. You have to check out. You can sort many different ways, each hotel is shown with many pictures as well as a map showing the hotel’s relative location within Paris, and many reviews.

What I am doing is sorting by rating and then checking out the lowest priced hotels at the highest rating. I’m down to 3 hotels. Not sure which one to pick!
